Thank you for your help today, the spare parts will be very helpful and get us ready for our next trip with our daughter this coming summer! Last year, 2007, we took our first family European Adventure....flying from California to Illinois to London to Paris to Athens to New York and back to California ! A three week trip with a 10 month old. A few days before we left we thought we were crazy! So, we started our trip and immediately we were relieved when our daughter fell asleep in the terminal before we boarded on the first plane ride. Just that made your product worth the price, because this is what happened. We began our trip relaxed with a sleeping baby! She flew asleep on my lap in first class. As we boarded the plane and sat in our seats (in first class) I could see that the others seated around us were making the "oh no, a baby!" face, but she slept the whole flight! We had great compliments on how wonderful our little girl was! What a great start we thought...and although the next flight she was up the whole way, when we landed in England she had her comfy car seat right when we disembarked and was able to fall asleep for her next nap! Giving mommy and daddy the chance to get the rental car, luggage and maps out for a peaceful ride to see family.
We didn't have to bring a stroller with us at all...we used the Travelmate and her car seat as her stroller...everywhere! You wouldn't believe the looks we would get from everyone we passed. Everyone was pointing and in awe, some asked where to get one and others asked how it worked. So many other parents we spoke to asked for your website and info! We felt like celebs! It was quite funny. Attached are three pictures (I'm not sure if they are in this order as they attached): 1. At Salisbury Cathedral courtyard in Salisbury , England 2. We can vouch for the quality of your products, because even though we only used them for three weeks, they went everywhere! Cobblestone roads, dirt, gravel, concrete, and asphault...even wooden bridges and the car seat and the Travelmate stayed together...plus with the car seat protector, I didn't have to worry about the car seat getting dirty! And yes, it rained and the bag protected the car seat from all the mud and water (I scotch guarded it before we left to try to make it somewhat water proof).
We arrived back into the US through JFK and had to go through customs.... NEVER do this...go to another airport for customs no matter the price! Not only were we treated like cattle, but we were refused our car seat when we got off the plane and had to collect it with all our other baggage. They were really nasty to us too. To top it all off, when we got all our luggage...there was not car seat and we still had to go through customs and re-check our luggage to board our next flight home! We waited and waited and then after 2 hours a man comes out from a "security door" and gives us pieces...that he thinks go together, but couldn't be sure. We look at the mess and try to put it back together...no luck still missing pieces so we loaded it too on top of the piled high luggage cart at the airport and was herded into lines to go through customs and then re-check our luggage. I got home and filed a formal complaint with United and JFK customer service...to make a long story short...they both said because it wasn't worth over a certain amount I can't get anything for the damages incurred. So, lesson learned the hard way...Do NOT come home through JFK, EVER!
So, back to my reason for calling, thank you for your help and support...and your great products! At every baby shower I go to this is the gift I give, sanity during travel! Please, keep creating easy products that help us travel easier with our children! Looking forward to future products!

I live in Australia and ordered a GoGo Kidz Travelmate for use with my Australian car seat. I found your customer service department very helpful when making my selection. They had no information on file, however, regarding the compatibility of the Travelmate with Australian car seats.
Having tried it, I can offer you the following feedback:
The Travelmate did not work with my Britax Meridian car seat. The bolt attachment fit nicely into the back of the car seat, but the bases on most car seats Britax makes for Australia are quite high - therefore, the wheels of the Travelmate where about 6 inches off the ground when it was attached.
Having said that, I was so convinced that the Travelmate was the solution that I needed for travel, that I actually went in search of a different car seat - one that would work with your product. The only one I found was the Britax Premier car seat. It worked beautifully with the tether attachment on the Travelmate.
My husband and I used the Travelmate from Australia to the US and have been very pleased - it has been all we had hoped it would be.
Thank you for providing us with the solution we needed! I hope that we have returned the favor by giving you information you may find valuable in the future.

My husband and I travel frequently for business and pleasure and we've been absolutely thrilled with our Travelmate. No more struggling through airports with a separate stroller and car seat! And using it has been a wonderful advertisement for your product. We're approached by at least 3 or 4 parents on every trip, asking about the Travelmate and where to find it.
We just got back to San Francisco from a long haul flight to the Turks & Caicos Islands and once again were approached by several parents (as well as a future grandparent) as we waited at the luggage carousel in Miami. Our 2 yr old was fast asleep in his car seat and we were relatively hands-free while they all dealt with strollers and car seats.

Last year, we took the same trip - half-way around the world with a 3 1/2 year old - 36 hours non-stop traveling time, 21 hours in the air, 3 airports on 3 different continents, 6 extremely large check-in bags plus 6 carry ons plus the Britax Marathon - and then we did the same thing coming back. The amount we walked within those airplane terminals added up to miles. Carting that big Marathon even with a car seat bag that only had a shoulder strap was a nightmare.
Go-Go Kidz made that same journey a breeze this year. And I mean a breeze. Granted he was 4 1/2 instead of 3 1/2 but it was so easy - We just strolled him in his car seat. There was so much less wear and tear on us physically, simply because not only did we not have to carry the car seat but with your wheels, we didn't have to carry him either. In fact, instead of making a car seat a pain to travel with, the wheels actually made it easier to travel with a car seat than without one all together because it provided a stroller for the airports and the car seat on the airplane made it easy for him comfortably to sleep over those very long distances (which is why even though he technically did not need a car seat on the airplane at 4 1/2, we chose to bring one anyway).
